The United Ambassadors MUN Conference (UA-MUNC) is a pioneering educational youth conference that offers the most accurate simulation of the United Nations and its decision-making process. It follows Real UN Rules of Procedure, which were developed by Stanford certified educators & Model UN veterans in consultation with UN experts and staff to deliver a world-leading realistic simulation of UN main bodies and events. Our committees include the General Assembly, Security Council, ECOSOC, International Court of Justice, Commission on the Status of Women, High-Level Political Forum, as well as real-life "MUN Action" committee discussing the role of youth in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
UA-MUNC delivers unmatched quality, rich topics and fun, exciting debates in a fast-paced setting where students collaboratively negotiate solutions to some of the world's biggest problems with delegates from all over the world. The conference welcomes all active MUN participants aged 12-29, who must be currently enrolled in high school or university. The conference is designed for forward-thinking, innovative youth leaders, and is a valuable educational experience for students who wish to build critical skills for college or career, and learn first-hand how the real United Nations functions.

Conference Description: UA-MUNC New York is a world-leading educational conference offering a cutting-edge, fun, accurate, simulation of the real UN.
Academic Theme: A Decade of Action: Global Conversations the Role of Technology, Youth, and Multilateralism in Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. Sub-themes: Poverty, Gender Equality, Climate Action, and Human Rights.
Committees: Simulated committees include the General Assembly, the Security Council the ECOSOC High-Level Political Forum and Commission on the Status of Women, the International Court of Justice, and the Human Rights Council. UA-MUNC New York will also include a real-life youth-led "#MUN_Action" Committee where youth participants will discuss SDG advancement through MUN and education in real declarations.
Rules of Procedure: The conference will provide an accurate portrayal of the UN decision-making process, as it will follow Real UN Rules of Procedure.
Venues: The Conference will be held at the UN Headquarters in New York and/ or the Grand Hyatt Hotel New York.
The Process: The first two days are a training workshop on accurate educational simulations of the UN, followed by the Model UN conference, which will last for 4 days, including 2 days of plenary sessions, and 2 days of committee sessions.
Previous Conference: The MUN Youth Assembly, UN HQ NYC was an original production by United Ambassadors and the first of its kind worldwide. The first was held in 2016, 2 weeks before the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Delegates from around the world expressed their views on the changing MUN landscape and how MUN education can positively impact the world. The conferences culminated in the launch of resolutions that encouraged young MUN leaders around the world to drive a positive change in their Model UN circuit. It was supported and encouraged by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, The President of the General Assembly, Mr. Mogens Lykketoft, the United Nations Department of Global Communications, SDG Action Campaign and UN Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth.

Registration fees are for delegates/ participants actively participating in the educational program offered by the organization inside and outside of UN facilities. If you do not wish to register as an active participant, and only wish to attend the opening/ closing ceremonies at the UN HQ, please fill in this free registration form for 1-day access to the ceremonies in the UN GA Hall and/ or ECOSOC Chamber as an inactive observer free of charge. Acceptance is not guaranteed, this form will place you on a waiting list. Applications are reviewed and provided based on merit and availability.
